Graduate as a workforce-ready EEG Trainee. After completing 100 documented clinical EEGs and a current CPR/BLS certification, you are eligible to sit for the ABRET R.EEG T. board exam. Your Pathway

Step 1 — Complete Boot Camp (12 Weeks)
Train in EEG acquisition, electrode application, artifact recognition, and patient care. 160 hours self-paced online didactics, 80 hours in-person lab in Tampa, 240 hours supervised clinical placement at a real hospital.

Step 2 — Receive Your Certificate of Completion
An official Certificate of Completion from TNI Tampa, aligned with ABRET Pathway II requirements.

Step 3 — Enter the Workforce as an EEG Trainee
You are workforce-ready. Begin working as an EEG Trainee at your clinical placement site or another healthcare facility.

Step 4 — Work and Document Your 100 Clinical EEGs
Over approximately one year in the field, document your EEG studies. ABRET requires 100 documented EEGs plus current CPR/BLS to sit for the board exam.

Step 5 — Your Exam Fee, Released to You
Your ABRET exam fee buffer is held in escrow until you are ready to test. Once you have completed your 100 documented clinical EEGs and hold a valid CPR/BLS certification, TNI Tampa releases $750 to you via your preferred method — Zelle, Venmo, Apple Pay, or virtual gift card. You then register and pay ABRET directly at ABRET.org. Exam prices are set by ABRET and subject to change. If the fee exceeds $750, the student is responsible for the difference. If the fee is less than $750, the remaining balance is refunded to you the same way.

Step 6 — Sit for the ABRET R.EEG T. Exam & Get Credentialed
Pass the exam and you are a Registered EEG Technologist (R.EEG T.) — a nationally recognized ABRET credential.
Board exam eligibility requires completion of 100 documented EEGs and a current CPR/BLS certification after graduation, per ABRET Pathway II requirements. TNI Tampa's curriculum is aligned with ABRET Pathway II. ABRET independently determines exam eligibility.

Career Outcome
Students in the Professional EEG Track accumulate all required clinical hours within the program. Upon completion, you are board-eligible and can sit for the ABRET R.EEG T. exam immediately. This is the gold standard pathway for a comprehensive EEG credential with advanced clinical competency.
