Admissions Requirements

Here's what you need to enroll at TNI Tampa.

Basic Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED (required for all programs)
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Valid government-issued photo ID (driver's license, state ID, or passport)
  • No prior healthcare experience required for EEG Boot Camp or Professional EEG Track
  • Background check, drug screen, and fingerprinting required (Level 2 — completed through CastleBranch, paid directly by student)

CLTM Track — Additional Eligibility

The CLTM Track has two eligibility paths:

Path A — Credentialed & Experienced

You hold an active R.EEG T. credential, have at least 1 year of post-credential LTM clinical experience, and have documented 50 LTM cases. You may be eligible to sit for the CLTM exam immediately upon completing the program.

Path B — New to LTM

You are new to long-term monitoring. You complete the CLTM Track to build the skills and experience needed to eventually qualify for the CLTM exam.

CPR/BLS Certification

You do not need CPR/BLS certification at the time of enrollment. However, you must obtain a valid CPR/BLS certification before your clinical placement begins. TNI Tampa will provide guidance on how and where to obtain your certification.

TNI Tampa recommends the following providers for CPR/BLS certification: American Heart Association at cpr.heart.org and American Red Cross at redcross.org/take-a-class.

Pre-Clinical Compliance Requirements

Before beginning clinical placement, all students must complete the following through CastleBranch and approved third-party providers. These are student-paid fees paid directly to the vendor — TNI Tampa does not collect these fees and is not responsible for third-party pricing.

  • Criminal background check (through CastleBranch)
  • Drug screen (through CastleBranch)
  • Immunization tracking and verification (through CastleBranch)
  • Fingerprinting (at an FDLE-approved location)
Note: Your compliance status is verified by clinical sites directly through the CastleBranch portal. TNI Tampa does not have access to your background check results or medical records.

Clinical Conduct Standards

Clinical placement is a privilege, not a guarantee. Students are expected to conduct themselves professionally at all times while at clinical sites. This includes arriving on time, following hospital policies, maintaining patient confidentiality, and treating staff and patients with respect.

TNI Tampa places students at affiliated hospital sites. Those sites reserve the right to remove any student from their facility for conduct violations, including but not limited to repeated tardiness, unprofessional behavior, or failure to follow site policies. If a student is removed from a clinical site, TNI Tampa will make reasonable efforts to find an alternative placement, but cannot guarantee placement at a new site. Tuition is not refunded due to clinical removal resulting from student conduct.
